Kerri has operated at senior levels in aged care for the past 20 years working across the sector. This experience includes aged care, community care and retirement living. Kerri’s career has spanned operations and strategic roles, program management and training and development. Kerri has provided leadership and industry advice in her previous role with LASA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Educational Studies and also qualifications in Service Coordination, Mental Health, Workplace Training and Assessment and Home & Community Care.
Chris has a broad and varied background in the Australian Government health sector and the community sector, with recent and extensive experience as a Quality Reviewer/Assessor with the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency (Agency). Chris also co-facilitated number of the two-day Understanding Quality Review courses. Chris is passionate about people, paper and processes and a quality focus within a continuous improvement framework. Her previous roles include project management in health and social programs, human resource manager, case manager and staff trainer. Chris holds a Bachelor of Adult Education and Human Resource Management.
Lynda is the Education and Training Coordinator with Leading Age Services Australia – Queensland (LASA Q). Previous roles include a range of teacher, educator , senior management and faculty leadership roles with Education Queensland, the TAFE Queensland sector, Skills Councils and the community. Lynda has been a Faculty Director, Head of School, Business Development Manager, Grant Writer and Skills Development Officer over a 35 year career in Education and Training. In addition, Lynda has extensive experience of providing professional development sessions for vocational trainers and industry personnel as well as significant and long term experience in delivering papers and presentations at local, state, national and international conferences and forums. Lynda holds formal qualifications at undergraduate and post graduate levels in management, teaching and training – including a Master of Applied Linguistics, Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Education, Diploma of Management and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Lynda’s experience in management and leadership and expertise in language, literacy and numeracy education and support has enhanced her work at LASA Q where she mentors trainers and provides flexible and customised education and training services to students in our programs.
Kim is Contracts’ Coordinator at Leading Age Services Australia – Queensland joining our team 4 years ago in this specialist role. Previously, Kim worked for 12 years at The Bremer Institute of TAFE including 9 years as a Business Development Manager. In these roles Kim has demonstrated strengths in client relationship development and maintenance, contract compliance and reporting and leadership in the Vocational Educational and Training sector. Kim’s reputation for great client service, attention to detail and consistent follow up means that excellent education institute outcomes for students, clients and funding bodies are ensured. Kim holds qualifications in Project Management and Training and Assessment.
